Course presentation

Step into the future of procurement with ChatGPT Apps for Buyers, a hands-on course designed to turn a powerful AI into your personal digital assistant. You’ll learn how to build and customize ChatGPT Apps that handle everyday sourcing tasks—drafting emails, summarizing quotes, answering policy questions, and more—so you can focus on strategy instead of repetitive busywork.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this course, you will:

  • Understand what a ChatGPT App is and see how it can streamline your procurement workflows—acting like a 24/7 assistant that never forgets a template.
  • Identify simple, repetitive tasks in your daily role (emails, RFQ comparisons, policy lookups) and turn them into no-code automations.
  • Gain the confidence to explore more advanced automations, including document uploads and data analysis—and prepare for future modules on API integrations and strategic AI usage.

Who Should Enroll:

  • Procurement Professionals & Strategic

  • Buyers looking to modernize their toolkit

  • Category Managers & Sourcing Analysts eager to automate routine analyses

  • Operations & Compliance Leads who want instant, accurate policy or contract insights

  • Anybody in Buying or Supply Chain curious about harnessing AI without writing a single line of code

No technical background is required—if you can outline your task and describe your needs, you’re ready to build but we recommend access to a paid subscription, either private or company. To get started, the private user provides immediate access.

To create and use your own custom ChatGPT Apps, you'll need access to ChatGPT Pro, which runs on GPT-4 (or more advanced). With a Pro subscription, you unlock access to the GPT-4 model (required for building ChatGPT Apps)

The subscription currently costs $20 USD/month (as of 2025), and it's billed monthly.
